Officers in rural Hampshire have arrested three men following reports of suspicious activity near Basingstoke.
Police were called at 4.32pm yesterday (Thursday 23 September) to reports of three masked men acting suspiciously near Back Lane, close to Herriard.
Officers attended the scene and made three arrests.
A 32-year-old man from Blackwater, a 28-year-old man from Woking, and a 20-year-old man from London were all arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
The 32-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft and theft.
They have all been released on conditional bail and our enquiries are ongoing.
Officers are still keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
