Officers are continuing to appeal for information after a man died following a collision in Southampton.
Officers attended after a collision on the Itchen Bridge, involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian that occurred just before 7.15pm on Wednesday, September 25.
The pedestrian, a man in his 50s from Southampton, was taken to hospital but sadly died on Sunday, 29 September.As part of the investigation, the motorcycle rider, a 31-year-old man from Southampton, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He has been released on police bail until 22 December.We are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, in particular anyone who may have dash-cam footage.
