Reports of child falling into Fareham Creek sparked a multi agency response shortly after 2.30pm today on the Delme Roundabout in Fareham

Police, Firefighters, HM Coastguard and Paramedics were in attendance of the incident, its understood that a passer by had seen a child who appeared to have fallen into the water at Fareham Creek.
A specialist HIWFRS Water Rescue Unit and lifeguards from HM Coastguard carried out an extensive search of the area is believed to have unable to locate the child.
After further enquiries were conducted at Cams Mill public house, its understood that four children had jumped into the water and had left prior to emergency services arriving at the incident.
After an extensive search was carried out emergency services stood down, fortunately there was no reported casualties and the call was graded a false alarm with good intent.
