Crews from Redbridge, Eastleigh and St Mary’s were called to a lorry trailer fire on the M271
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire, which involved the tyres and axel at 3.47pm.
The vehicle was handed over to a recovery service before the stop message came in at 5:13pm.
