Officers investigating the death of a man in Havant have tonight charged two women
It comes following days of forensic investigations at the address in Botley Drive, Havant where the body of a male was found in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A number of Police officers remain at the scene along with crime scene investigators who are gathering and securing evidence.
A police dog and handler was also at the property today believed to be searching for further clues that may have been unseen by trained investigators.
Officers leading the investigation have now released information on the two female suspects that were arrested, they have since been charged in relation of the incident.
Shaye Lauren Corrigan, 26, of Botley Drive, Havant, has been charged with murder.
Lauren Elizabeth White, 26, of Cheltenham Road, Portsmouth, has been bailed in relation to murder but charged under Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act RIPA for failing to comply with a section 49 notice to disclose the key to protected information.
The charges come after the body of 25-year-old Frankie Fitzgerald was found inside a property on Botley Drive on Sunday (17 July).
Officers were called at 8.04am and attended the address. Frankie’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Both women are due to appear tomorrow at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Wednesday 20 July.
