Police are appealing for witnesses following reports of an armed robbery at the Old Basing Village Shop on Belle Vue Road at around 7pm last night (Thursday 2 December).
A man threatened a staff member with a knife and left the store with approximately £200 in cash.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses and information that could help with the investigation.
The suspect is described as being a white man and around 6ft 2ins tall. He was wearing a black balaclava, a green jacket and a black hood.
