Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a large amount of gold was stolen from two Aldershot jewellers during ram raids in the early hours of this morning.
Officers were called at around 3.20am on Friday 10 December to reports that the Anugraha Jewellers store on Station Road and the New Laxmi Jewellers store on Victoria Road had been burgled.
The shops both contained gold jewellery and a significant amount has been stolen.
It is believed a silver Land Rover Discovery, which was abandoned on Victoria Road, was involved in both of the incidents.
A scene is currently in place outside both premises and officers have launched an investigation.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward to assist with their enquiries.
