A person has suffered life changing injuries after being struck by a passenger train at Rowlands Castle

Emergency services were scrambled shortly after 4.30pm after reports that a person had been struck by a passenger train at Rowlands Castle Train Station.
The train involved is belived to have been travelling from London Waterloo and operated by South West Trains, Network Rail are working alongside emergency services to free the injured person.
Delays between Petersfield and Portsmouth are expected for some time please check travel updates before travelling.
South West Trains have been approached for comment on the incident more to follow.
