Emergency services were scrambled in the early hours of this morning following a collision in Fareham
Specialist medics from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, were called shortly before 00.45am after reports of occupants trapped in the collision.
Firefighters from Fareham, Cosham and Hightown worked alongside paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service and Specialist HEMS medics to free the two occupants.
The two occupants were taken to hospital for treatment after they are believed to have sustained minor injuries in the collision.
A tweet from Fareham fire station said:
“In the early hours of this morning, White Watch attended this single car RTC, alongside @Hightown56 @Cosham23 . A lucky escape for both driver & passenger. Great work by all and thanks to @SCAS999 @HantsPolRoads and @HIOWAA 🚒🚓🚑🚁”
Police closed Hunts Pond Road, Fareham, following the collision to allow emergency services to work safely.
A full investigation into the collision is now underway.
