Police Appeal Following Fawley Assault
Officers investigating a violent assault outside The Falcon Inn pub in Fawley have released an image of a man they wish to speak with.
The incident occurred between 9.20pm and 10pm on Sunday, 28 July, when a man and a woman, both in their 40s, were attacked.
Both victims were punched and kicked during the altercation. The man sustained swelling to his head and bruising across his face and body, while the woman suffered bruising to her knee and arms.
Following extensive enquiries, Hampshire Police are now asking the public for help in identifying a man they believe could assist in their investigation.
He is described as white, standing between 6ft 1ins and 6ft 2ins tall, with a large build.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black vest top and black shorts.Police are urging anyone who recognises the man, or who was in the area at the time of the assault, to come forward.
Officers are particularly keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or noticed any suspicious behaviour around the pub.
