Officers have today (12 April) released an e-fit image of a man that they’d like to trace in relation to a burglary in New Milton.
At around 2pm on Tuesday 15 March, a man is alleged to have forced their way into a property on Christchurch Road – close to the junction of Barton Lane – in New Milton.
The property was entered via the rear door and was unoccupied at the time. An untidy search was completed with a range of electrical items and jewellery stolen in the process.
A man has then been seen to flee the scene on a black bicycle carrying two Bag For Life supermarket bags and headed towards Fawcett Fields.
He is described as being white, aged 30-35 years old, approximately 5ft 8ins tall, skinny build and short brown hair and grey beard.
The man was seen wearing a dark bomber jacket, grey trousers and carrying a black rucksack over his shoulder at the time of the incident.
Do you know who this man is? Were you in the area at the time? Perhaps you have CCTV or dash-cam footage available?
Anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to contact police on 101 and quoting crime reference 44220103997.
