Firefighters from three counties tackle barn fire in Bisterne

Combined fire response following large fire which destroyed a barn in Bisterne
A barn fire at a farm on Dragon Lane, Bisterne prompted a combined fire service response at 3.07pm Thursday 28 July.
Crews from Ringwood and Fordingbridge joined crews from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service to extinguish a fire involving to barns well alight.
The barn contained 25 tonnes of straw, which fuelled the fire.

Fortunately, no persons or animals were involved.
Crews tackled the blaze and managed to control the burn and working with the farmer to manage the incident site.
