Crews from Sandown, Shanklin, Ventnor, Ryde and Newport were called at 4:12 this morning with reports of smoke and flames issuing.
On arrival HIWFRS found the whole bungalow on Westlake Avenue engulfed in flames and set to work extinguishing the fire.
Crews isolated the utilities within the unoccupied property as they worked to stop the blaze using hose reels and jets with firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.
Firefighters left the scene following the stop message at 6:08, with a crew set to return to conduct a reinspection and dampen down any remaining hotspots.
A joint police and fire investigation is set to take place to establish the cause.
