A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with a serious assault in Southampton on Monday (14 March)
Police were called at 7.49pm to Ascupart Street, Southampton, where a 19-year-old man had been stabbed.
He was taken to hospital where he remains at this time in a serious but stable condition.
Officers have since arrested a 22-year-old Southampton man on suspicion of attempted murder.
He remains in police custody at this time.
