After years of complaints to police over fears to public safety due to speeding vehicles through the Meon Valley area, it has been announced by police and crime commissioner Donna Jones to install average speed cameras.
She tweeted earlier saying: “I have today approved the purchase of average speed cameras for the Meon Valley along the A272/ A32.
Speeding traffic & noisy exhausts have blighted local peoples lives for years – things are going to change! Thanks to @DamianHinds @HantsPolRoads & Flick Drummond MP.
