Officers have arrested a third person in connection with a robbery in Horndean on Tuesday, 3 August 2021 where a dog was stolen
The incident happened at around 5.55pm on Stonechat Road.
A 13-year-old boy was walking his dog when he was approached by an unknown man who asked the dog’s name. The dog was then forcefully taken. The suspects made off in a blue car.
The boy was uninjured and the dog later returned.
Officers have now arrested a third person in connection with the incident.
A 31-year-old man from Farnborough has been arrested on suspicion of robbery. He has been questioned by officers and released on police bail with conditions while enquiries continue.
Officers initially arrested a 36-year-old man from Paulsgrove and a 17-year-old boy from Portsmouth on suspicion of robbery.
The 36-year-old man was questioned by officers and released under investigation.
The 17-year-old boy was also questioned by officers and released on police bail.
Enquiries are ongoing.
