Officers investigating a serious assault in Aldershot have arrested two more people – bringing the total of number of those arrested to three
Police were called at 8.22pm on Wednesday 15 November to a report that a man in his 60s and a 17-year-old boy had suffered serious injuries following an incident on Roberts Road.The pair were assaulted by three males, who quickly fled the scene in a vehicle.
They were taken to hospital to be treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.Since this was reported to police, officers have been carrying out various enquiries and arrested two men yesterday (29 November).
A 19-year-old man from Aldershot was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent x 2 and robbery.
He has been bailed with conditions until 29 February while police enquiries continue.
A 20-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent x 2 and robbery.
He has been bailed with conditions until 29 February while police enquiries continue.
On 17 November, a 16-year-old boy from Aldershot was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, robbery and possession of a Class C drug.
He has been bailed with conditions until 17 February while police enquiries continue.Officers are still gathering evidence, and there is nothing to suggest there is a wider threat to the public as we currently believe this was an isolated incident.
As part of enquiries, police believe there may have been potential witnesses in the area and would like to hear from them.
