Witness appeal after vehicle theft and road traffic collision in Eastleigh and Southampton

Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information, following the theft of a car in Eastleigh.

The incident occurred on Tuesday 28 September between 7am and 8am after a silver Vauxhall Vectra was stolen from outside a property on Doncaster Road.

The same vehicle was later involved in a road traffic collision with another vehicle, a black Seat Ibiza, on Thomas Lewis Way in Southampton at around 7.45am.

The driver of the Vauxhall was seen to flee the scene.

No injuries were reported.
