🚨 E-fit released after daytime burglary at Waterlooville home

Police have released an E-fit image of a man they want to identify following a burglary at a home in Waterlooville.

The incident happened at around 1pm on Friday 12 June on Catherington Lane, when a woman in her 70s returned home to discover the front door window had been smashed and a man inside her property.

The suspect fled the scene on a blue and black Carrera bicycle, taking cash and jewellery. Thankfully, the victim was not physically harmed.

The man police wish to speak to is described as:

White

Aged between 40 and 50

Around 5ft 11in tall

Athletic build

Grey hair, short at the sides and longer on top

Wearing a dark top, shorts and trainers

Left on a blue/black Carrera bike

Officers believe the man shown in the E-fit could assist with their investigation and are urging him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.

Police are also appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Catherington Lane area around the time of the burglary to get in touch.
