Police officers investigating reports of a residential burglary in Bishopstoke have arrested a man.
It was reported that a man was seen to enter a residential property on Chardean Road in Bishopstoke at around 6pm on Saturday 25 September.
The man was challenged by a nearby neighbour and fled the scene.
Following police enquiries to identify the man, he was located and questioned by officers, and subsequently arrested.
A 19-year-old man from Bishop’s Waltham was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
He remains in custody at this time.
