Police close Eastern Road in Portsmouth following a serious incident

Police have closed the Eastern Road tonight following a serious incident

Both lanes in and out of the city have been closed after what is believed to be a life changing incident.

A number of roads policing units are at the scene along with accident scene investigators, who are conducting a full investigation into what has happened. 

Police have closed the Eastern Road between Burfields Road and Tangiers Road, the road is expected to be closed for sometime please avoid the area.
