Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information, to come forward after a man was assaulted in Southampton
The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning (20 August) on London Road.
At around 2.40am, an altercation reportedly ensued between a man and a group of people outside of a nightclub – resulting in a man in his 20s allegedly being assaulted by three people.
He sustained facial injuries and attended Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
Police have conducted initial enquiries, including reviewing local CCTV, but are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time, or might have mobile phone or dash-cam footage of the incident.
One of the men believed to be involved has been described as white, between 5ft 6ins – 6ft 1ins tall, short dark brown hair and wearing a t-shirt, black jeans and white trousers.
