Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Farnborough that left an elderly woman seriously injured.
The incident occurred on Monday, 9 September, at approximately 5:16pm on Kingsmead, near Sainsbury’s.The collision involved a red Nissan Leaf and a woman in her 80s.
She sustained serious injuries to her ankle and knee and was taken to hospital for treatment. Officers are currently investigating the circumstances of the collision and are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or captured dash-cam footage to come forward.
A spokesperson for the police said:
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone with dash-cam footage from the area at the time, as this could prove crucial in determining what happened.”The investigation is ongoing.
