A major emergency response was triggered after the discovery of a man’s body in a residential car park on Woodpath Close, near Elm Grove, Southsea.
Specialist medics, including an air ambulance team, were dispatched to the scene, with the helicopter landing on Southsea Common to provide urgent assistance. Despite the efforts of paramedics and doctors, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the death remain unclear at this stage, and Hampshire Police have been approached for comment. Officers were seen cordoning off the area as they carried out initial investigations.

Local residents reported seeing a heavy police presence, with forensic teams examining the area. It is not yet known if the death is being treated as suspicious.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as investigations continue.
