Witness appeal following fatal collision near Heckfield
Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal two-vehicle collision on the A33 near Heckfield.
Officers were called at around 10am on Saturday 10 May to reports of a collision on the A33 Basingstoke Road, just north of the Duke of Wellington statue.
Sadly, a man in his 50s, who was driving one of the vehicles, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
A man and woman, both aged in their 20s and travelling in the second vehicle, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
As part of the ongoing investigation, officers are urging anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone with dashcam footage from the area who has not yet spoken with police, to come forward.
