Police have arrested a man in his 60s on suspicion of murder following a sudden death in Yarmouth.
Officers were called to Yarmouth High Street on 22 September, following concerns raised for the welfare of a woman who fell seriously ill at an address.
The woman was taken to hospital where she subsequently died.
Following a number of enquiries, police are still trying to establish the exact circumstances of the death, but are currently treating the death as suspicious and police have arrested a man, who was known to the woman, as part of our investigation.
He remains in custody at this time.
