CCTV Appeal After Man Attacked With Hammer In Southampton

Police have released images of two men they would like to speak to following a serious assault in Southampton.

The incident happened at around 4.10pm on Thursday, May 7, between Earls Road and Avenue Road.

It was reported that two unknown men attacked another man, hitting him with a hammer before pushing him to the ground and stamping and kicking him.

Both men are described as having a tanned complexion, being aged between 25 and 35, with brown hair.

One of the men was described as topless and shoeless, wearing dark trousers.

The second man was wearing light-coloured trousers, a white top, a dark jacket, and white shoes.

As part of their ongoing enquiries, officers have now released images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
