Officers investigating the murder of a woman in Alton last Sunday have tonight charged a man.
Matthew Paul Reynolds, 31, of Pound Gate, Alton, has been charged with her murder, which happened on Sunday 10 October.
He has also been charged with a robbery at Holybourne Post Office, which happened on Thursday 7 October.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning (October 16) at 9.30am.
