Man Charged With Burglary Offences After Car Keys Stolen From Farnborough Home
A man has appeared in court charged with burglary offences following incidents in Farnborough.
Police received a report that car keys had been stolen from an address on Kenilworth Road on 26 December last year.
A Ford car was then taken from outside the property, but was later recovered by officers nearby.
Officers also received a separate report that an attempt had been made to enter a property on Revelstoke Avenue on 21 December last year. Entry was not gained and nothing was stolen.
Following an investigation, police arrested a man in connection with the reports.
Aaron Pearce, 38, of Chapel Lane, Farnborough, has since been charged with:
Burglary dwelling and theft
Attempted burglary dwelling with intent to steal
Pearce appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on 13 May, where he was remanded into custody.
He is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on 10 June.
