Man Charged After Burglaries Reported At Nine Farnborough Addresses
A 29-year-old man has been charged following a series of burglary-related incidents in Farnborough.
Jason Eastwood, of no fixed abode, has been charged with ten offences after police received reports linked to nine addresses in the town.
The charges include:
Burglary dwelling with intent to steal x3
Burglary dwelling and theft, no violence x2
Attempted burglary dwelling with intent to steal x4
Vehicle interference x1
The charges follow reports of burglaries at five addresses in Lauderdale, Briars Close and New Dawn Close.
A number of items were reported stolen, including jewellery, cash, headphones, a car key and a purse.
Police also received reports of attempted burglaries at four addresses in New Dawn Close, Lauderdale and Highfield Road, as well as a report of vehicle interference at an address in Lauderdale.
The offences are alleged to have taken place on Monday, 11 May and Tuesday, 12 May.
Officers launched an investigation and arrested Eastwood on Monday, 18 May.
He has since been charged with the ten offences and is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday, 20 May.
