Police Appeal After Number Plates Stolen From Vehicle In Southampton
Police are appealing for witnesses after the front and rear number plates were removed from a vehicle in Southampton.
The incident happened on Woodley Road at around 7.31pm on Monday, 25 April 2026.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify, as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries.
The man is described as white, aged between 25 and 35, of average build, with brown hair. He was wearing a grey hoodie, blue tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Officers are asking anyone who was in the area at the time, recognises the man, or saw anything suspicious to get in touch.
Police would also like to hear from anyone with CCTV, dashcam, mobile phone or doorbell camera footage that may help the investigation.
