🚨 Two More Charged Over Southampton Violent Disorder – Total Charged Rises to 25

A man and a woman have been charged as part of the ongoing investigation into the violent disorder that took place in Southampton on 2 June.

Thomas Thacker, 35, of Portchester Road, Southampton, and Amanda McCartney, 52, of Inverness Road, Fratton, Portsmouth, have both been charged with violent disorder.

Both defendants were remanded in custody and appeared before Southampton Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 17 June).

The latest charges bring the total number of people charged in connection with the disorder to 25 as police continue their investigation.
