Appeal after Honda Silver Wing 600 stolen during Hythe test ride

Police are appealing for information following the theft of a motorbike from an address in Hythe.

The incident happened at around 9.15pm on Tuesday 23 June in Ashleigh Close, when a Honda Silver Wing 600 that had been advertised for sale was taken for a test ride and never returned.

Officers believe the motorbike may still be somewhere in the Waterside area of the New Forest and are asking anyone who has seen it or knows where it is to come forward.

Police are also keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV, doorbell camera or dashcam footage that could assist the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident 44260298081, or report it online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary.
