Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Andover in the early hours of Sunday morning, 24 April

Sometime between 12am and 2.30am on Sunday morning, a man was on the dancefloor in Cameo nightclub when he was headbutted by a person unknown to him. 

At around 3am the man left the club and went to Chickoland where he was approached by four men unknown to him. 

An altercation then broke out during which the man was assaulted. 

The man, aged 21, sustained injuries to his face and body during the assault, including a fractured cheekbone and a fractured eye socket. 

The four men are described as being white.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that may assist their investigation.
