Police are appealing for information following a robbery at The Clock Shop on Highland Road in Southsea.
Police were called at 10.51am on Wednesday 15 December to a report that two men had entered the store and assaulted a member of staff.
Officers attended and located the staff member, a man in his 50s, with injuries to his arms, ankle, head, hands, back and ribs. He was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
The two men left the scene in a silver Honda Jazz, before attempting to burn it out on Goodwood Road. They then left the vehicle on foot.
Jewellery suspected to be worth at least £1000 was taken in the incident.
Officers have been following a number of lines of enquiry to locate those involved and now have this image to release to the public.
Police would like to speak to the man pictured, seen in the area at the time, in connection with this incident. He is described as:
- Aged between 30 and 40-years-old
- White
- Of stocky build
- Dark hair
- Wearing light blue shorts, a light blue t-shirt, a navy blue Under Armour pull-over jacket, white trainers, black socks and carrying other dark coloured clothing.
