Police are appealing for witnesses after a child suffered serious injuries in a collision on Copnor Road yesterday (March 24)

Officers attended the collision, involving a pedestrian and Ford Transit van, which happened around 2.30pm.
The pedestrian, a young girl, was taken to hospital having suffered serious injuries.
The van driver was spoken to by police at the scene and is assisting with enquiries.
As part of the police investigation, officers are keen to hear from anyone with information which may assist them.
They are particularly keen to hear from anyone with dash cam footage of the incident.
