Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information, following an assault which happened in Southampton.
The incident occurred between 12pm and 1pm on Sunday 26 September on Bath Road.
At around midday, a road rage incident occurred between the driver of a gold Volkswagen van and a silver Peugeot, resulting in the driver of the Volkswagen van being assaulted.
The driver of the Peugeot then proceeded to drive at the man at speed, knocking the victim – a 56-year-old man from Southampton – to the ground. He suffered minor injuries as a result.
Police have conducted initial enquiries, but officers are now keen to hear from any motorists who may have witnessed the incident or have dash-cam footage available of the Peugeot being driven at the victim.

A 27-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, dangerous driving, causing criminal damage and using threatening, abusive or insulting words to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
He was released under investigation, pending further police enquiries.
