Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian sadly died following a collision in Petersfield yesterday (April 4)

The incident, involving a blue Skoda Yeti and pedestrian, happened around 1.36pm on Ramshill.
Emergency services attended and the road was closed while officers responded. Sadly, the pedestrian, a 76-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
The driver of the car, a 78-year-old woman from Liss, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. She has been released under investigation.
Enquiries into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
Officers investigating are keen to hear from any witnesses they have not already spoken with. They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has dash cam footage from the incident.
