Officers investigating a robbery that took place in Southampton on Tuesday, 12 October are appealing for witnesses.
Sometime between 7.50am and 8.20am on Tuesday, 12 October, a man in his 50’s was walking along Kanes Hill, when he was approached by two men unknown to him at the entrance of Dumbleton’s Copse.
The men asked the man for a cigarette before grabbing him by his upper arm and pulling him into the woods. The men then demanded he hand over his wallet and phone whilst threatening him with a knife.
The men took his wallet before walking off in the direction of Kane’s Hill, towards the Windhover Roundabout.
The first man is described as:
• White
• Aged in his 60’s
• Stocky, muscular build
• Short brown hair
• No facial hair
• He was wearing black tracksuit top with a white logo on the left hand side (possibly Adidas) and a hood
The second man is described as:
• White
• Aged in his 30’s
• Chubby build with a big belly
• Long grey scruffy hair that was worn down and fell below his shoulders
• No facial hair
• He was wearing blue jeans and a hoodie
Officers are keen to identify the two men involved. Do you recognise their descriptions?
