Police are appealing for witnesses after a 15-year-boy was threatened with a knife on Colby Street before having his bag stolen
The incident happened at 5pm on Thursday 9 June.
The boy was selling a replica Louis Vuitton bag to someone who had contacted him on Snapchat but when he turned up to the location to exchange it for money, the boy who met him said he had a knife and demanded he hand over the bag to him.
The victim complied and the boy cycled off with the bag. The victim was not injured.
The boy we are looking to trace is described as:
Black
Aged 17-18-years-old
6 feet 4 inches tall
Slim build
Wearing a balaclava, black tracksuit and trainers
Riding a bike
Officers are carrying out a number of enquiries to identify the boy through contact he had with the victim prior to the offence.
However police would like to hear from anyone who was in Colby Street last Thursday at around 5pm who saw anyone matching this description in the area or nearby.
