Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Southampton on Sunday (30 January)
At around 8.45pm, officers on patrol attended an incident at a bus stop in Windermere Avenue, Milbrook, where a 14-year-old boy was being assaulted by a man and two boys.
The victim sustained serious injuries to his left leg and was taken to hospital.
A 14-year-old boy from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and was bailed with conditions until 28 February while enquiries continue.
A 33-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and was bailed with conditions until 27 February while enquiries continue.
Enquiries are ongoing to locate those involved in the incident.
