Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic incident on the Isle of Wight yesterday (1 December).
At 5.55pm, a green Southern Vectis double decker bus, the number 2 to Ryde, was travelling along the A3056, Arreton Road, in Arreton.
When it reached the junction with East Lane, it left the road and ended up in a nearby field.
At least thirteen people were injured as a result. Two men sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital, where they remain at this time.
The A3056 was closed for several hours while we conducted our enquiries, but the road has since reopened.
