Police are appealing for witnesses following a suspicious incident in Southampton on Wednesday (15 December).
The incident happened in Mansell Park, Olive Road, Southampton, between 9.30pm and 10.30pm.
A man in his 30s was riding around Mansell Park on his motorcycle when three hooded individuals jumped out suddenly in front of him.
Two were brandishing black knives and made a stabbing motion towards him.
Their age was unclear due to their faces being covered.
The man stood up to the trio, who then got on a white Zhongheng motorcycle and drove away.
The motorcyclist pursued them to Olive Road where they fell from the bike and fled the scene.
The white motorcycle is believed to have been stolen from the Gosport area, but it is understood the bike has since been reunited with its owner.
The three individuals are described as:
– Around 4ft 9ins to 5ft 2ins tall
– Male
– Wearing black and grey hooded, long sleeve clothing and face coverings, either bandanas or masks
