Officers carrying out enquiries to locate a missing teenage girl from Christchurch are appealing for help from the public to find her.
Courtney Sammon, aged 16, was last seen at around 9am on Thursday 21 October 2021 on Pokesdown hill near to the railway station.
Courtney is described as five feet four inches tall and of small build with long blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black Nike hooded top with gold lettering, black leggings and black Nike trainers. Courtney was carrying a large brown bag and a navy Adidas hooded top.
Chief Inspector Derek McKerl, of Dorset Police, said: “We are becoming concerned for the welfare of Courtney due to her age and the passage of time since she was last seen.
“I would urge anyone who has seen Courtney, or a girl matching the description given, to please get in touch.
“We believe Courtney has links to the Southampton area so we would ask everyone to please report any sightings of her to Dorset Police.
“I would also like to make a direct plea to Courtney if you see this – please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are as we just want to ensure you are safe.”
