Police want to let residents know that a Section 34 dispersal order has been issued for Stock Heath Common through to the Greywell areas in leigh park,
The order will cover the outlined area below and comes into force at 16:00 tonight and will end at 09:00 tomorrow morning.
This has been put in place due to an increase in anti-social behaviour in the area, an increase in activity of groups of youths, on E-bikes causing issues in the locality, by throwing fireworks at the residents and their businesses.
While police have increased patrols in the area, police are also making use of the sec.34 dispersal order.
The dispersal order gives police officers the power to order a person to leave the area for a 48 hour period with no return. Refusal to comply with the order is a criminal offence.
Police will be continuing their patrols in the area and dealing with any issues they come across and officers will also be conducting high visibility patrols throughout the night and during the Fire work show.
