Firefighters were scrambled tonight after a fire broke out at a retirement complex in Portsmouth
HIWFRS received the call at 9.53pm with reports of a fire which had broke at an elderly residents flat within a retirement complex in Nutfield Place, Portsmouth.
Three aplliances from Southsea including ALP and one appliance from Cosham were scrambled to the complex, on arrival firefighters found that the fire had been extinguished.
Housing 21 who manage the block have been approached for comment.
