Officers on proactive patrol in Lymington have arrested a local 25-year-old man on suspicion of a number of offences
It comes after a vehicle allegedly pulled out in front of patrolling officers on Southampton Road in an erratic manner at around 10.20pm last night (19 July).
Officers pulled the vehicle over and breathalysed the driver at the roadside, which he failed.
A 25-year-old man from Lymington was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
The vehicle was searched by officers who located a quantity of suspected Class A drugs, which were subsequently seized.
The man was further arrested for possession of a Class A drug.
He remains in custody at this time.
