A man and a woman have been arrested following reports of a burglary in Milford on Sea.
Police were called at 12.35pm on Friday 27 September to a report that a garage on Victoria Road had been broken into and that two mountain bikes had been stolen.
Officers launched an investigation and tracked the bikes – which had AirTags taped to their frames – to an address in Bransgore.
Officers from Lymington and New Milton NPT and PCT attended the address and located the bikes, which have since been reunited with the owner.
A 45-year-old man from Bransgore was arrested on of burglary dwelling and theft – no violence and handling stolen goods.
A 34-year-old woman from Bransgore was arrested on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling – theft and handling stolen goods.
They have been bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.
