A man and a woman have been arrested following reports of a burglary in Milford on Sea.
Police were called at 12.35pm on Friday 27 September to a report that a garage on Victoria Road had been broken into and that two mountain bikes had been stolen.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Officers launched an investigation and tracked the bikes – which had AirTags taped to their frames – to an address in Bransgore.
Officers from Lymington and New Milton NPT and PCT attended the address and located the bikes, which have since been reunited with the owner.
A 45-year-old man from Bransgore was arrested on of burglary dwelling and theft – no violence and handling stolen goods.
A 34-year-old woman from Bransgore was arrested on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling – theft and handling stolen goods.
They have been bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.
