A man has been arrested in connection with drug supply offences in Southampton yesterday evening (6 March)
At 10.34pm, officers from the Southampton Central Neighbourhood Policing Team were on patrol when they noticed a black BMW car parked in Bellevue Road with the driver inside.
After making enquiries they searched the vehicle.
Large quantities of Class A and B drugs and £5,000 in cash were seized, along with weighing scales, a metal pole, a knuckle duster and the car.
A 42-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of:
-Possession with intent to supply a Class A drug
-Possession with intent to supply a Class B drug
-Possession of an offensive weapon in a public place
-Possession of criminal property
-Money laundering in connection with the Proceeds of Crime Act
He remains in police custody at this time.
