A man has been charged with assaults against three women.
Michael Leigh Phillips, aged 38, of no fixed abode, has been charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, making threats to kill, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and criminal damage.
This follows an incident at an address in Carisbrooke Road, Newport, overnight on 25 December into 26 December 2021.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 10 January).
